Governance – How Family Businesses Make Decisions
Del Paso Country Club
8:00am-5:30pm
“Governance” for family business is a process that promotes trust, family cohesion and higher business performance. The ultimate result of good governance is that there is harmony among all the constituents. Since a family business encompasses both the business and the family, governing it is, by nature, more complicated. How family businesses make decisions that impact both the family and the business is essential to success, sustainability and prosperity of both the business and the family.
This highly informative seminar will present the best practices that give family businesses the path to higher performance and longevity through the use of boards, either informal, advisory or fiduciary and family councils that, among other functions shape family input to the direction of the family business.
